the NC wine lover's dream | Childress Vineyards

Wine slushies, delicious food, gorgeous scenery - do I have your attention yet? Because if it's anything that has to do with wine and food, I'm in. This is exactly why my boyfriend thought it would be a great idea to take me on a surprise trip to Childress Vineyards to celebrate our one year. Honestly I'm really thankful he understands my love for wine and food. It's the little things that mean the most, right? 

Anyways, if you're a native to North Carolina or even visiting the triad-area, I HIGHLY suggest you visit Childress Vineyards. I've been of legal drinking age now for over five years and live about an hour from Lexington, and I'm honestly shocked I've just recently visited Childress for the first time. I've always heard amazing things about it, but never quite made the trip. Now that I've been, you can catch me at this winery on any weekend off I have off in the near future. This place is GORGEOUS. It's literally like the Napa Valley of NC. I've actually never been to Napa Valley - but to me, but in my eye's,  I've found the winery heaven of NC.

Alright so...  I don't know about y'all, but I've always dreaded the dentist. Honestly there's no particular reason why, it's just always been something I've never looked forward to for some reason. Here recently, my perspective has officially changed. It's really just all about finding the right dentistry for you, with the right environment that truly makes you feel welcomed and comfortable.

Here recently, I was introduced to Chapel Hill Family & Cosmetic Dentistry in Chapel Hill! I left my dental appointment there, and I kid you not, I actually had FUN and had such a great experience. I'm twenty-six years old, and have never left the dentist actually wanting to go back. That may sound a little crazy... but it was honestly that great of an experience!

Alright, guys, this one is for you! If you're like most men out there, you probably don't like to shop and you most likely get a "I don't know what I want" or a "I'll like anything" from your girl. Or... you might get the total opposite response and she may tell you exactly what she wants! Regardless, I've made this shoppable gift guide to give you guys some ideas if you're at a loss of what to do this year! If it were me, I'd be totally happy with any of thees gifts... So, hopefully your girl will love them too!

If your girl is a major jewelry lover and likes to keep up with trends, or even if she likes something simple - these jewelry picks are good ones! These Tory Burch studs are perfect everyday studs she can wear everyday. Also, you can't go wrong with a Kendra Scott Elisa necklace. What girl wouldn't be happy with a Kendra?! These Bauble Bar earrings are pretty on trend right now, and they're only $34 which is awesome. If you're looking for something a little more on the special side, this "I Love You To The Moon And Back" bracelet is a good choice - especially if you and your significant other say that to each other!

So if your girl is a major make up lover, this Bobbi Brown eyeshadow palette is a good choice. This YSL lipstick is also a good classic choice and comes in a few colors! If you think she'd like perfume, I really like this Philosophy Pure Grace scent. It's just a clean and fresh smelling scent that anyone would like! 

If she likes lounging around the house, I think this robe is SO CUTE. Especially for spring coming up and it's perfect to lounge around the house in. This Barefoot Dreams blanket is also AMAZING (it's a little on the pricy side, but it's so worth it because it feels like an actual dream.) This silk sleep mask is also cute and potentially promotes better sleep? Jk, I don't know if it does - but it's just cute.

If she has a shoe obsession, you can't go wrong with a new pair of Tory Burch Miller Sandals or a new pair of running shoes. These Adidas are cute and come in SO MANY colors on Amazon (plus they're under $50 which is awesome).

If you're looking for little add-on gifts, this Swell water bottle is a good choice and comes in other colors.  These Sugarfina Valentine's Day candies are also a good add-on and taste so good! You also can't go wrong with a new Kate Spade Phone Case.

Like I said... if I received any of these gifts, I know I'd be thrilled - so, I know your girl would be too! While gifts are always nice, sometimes just doing something special and meangingful for her that day is great. Surprise her with favorite flowers or her favorite candy, have her coffee or breakfast ready in the morning, take her on a surprise date that means something to the two of you, etc. Any sweet, heartfelt gesture always makes Valentine's Day special!
